What if I want to take a vacation in another place?
You can travel the world through vacation exchange. Vacation ownership offers unparalleled flexibility and the opportunity for affordable worldwide travel through vacation ownership exchange. Through Dial an Exchange, owners can trade their timeshare interval for vacation time at comparable resorts around the world.
How does the vacation exchange work?
Most resorts are affiliated with an exchange company, at Evergreen we deal strictly with Dial an Exchange, www.daelive.com which administers the exchange service for our members. The Exchange Company does not solicit a membership fee. To exchange, the owner places their Unit and Week into the exchange company's pool of resorts and weeks available for exchange, and in turn, chooses an available resort and week from that pool. The only time our Owners pay a fee to the Exchange company is when they have chosen a resort destination, thereby completing their exchange. Dial an Exchange offers their members the additional benefit of saving or banking vacation time for use up to three years in the future.
If we become owners at Evergreen Valley do we have to return to that same resort and the same week every year?
The choice is yours. As an owner, you can return to the same location year after year if you choose to. Here at Evergreen, we offer the added benefit of allowing our Owners to use their unit, at their home resort up to a year in the future, or you can exchange your vacation week(s) through DaeLive. Vacation exchange opens up a world of travel and vacation opportunities.
May I loan my unit to family and friends?
Yes you may. Sharing your vacation ownership with loved ones is one of the greatest benefits of all.
Can I bring guests along?
You may bring as many people as the unit will sleep. You must tell the front desk staff when booking how many people will be in the unit.
Do the resorts charge extra for guests like a hotel does?
No, however you are not allowed to have more guests than the unit accommodates.
What do I do if I can't use my vacation ownership one year?
You can space bank your week(s) with the Exchange company for future use,they will hold your vacation for up to three years. You can rent out the unit or you can loan it to family or friends.
Are all units equipped with a kitchen?
At Evergreen Valley all of our vacation ownership units are equipped with efficiency kitchens. They are equipped with everything you need, plates, pots, utensils, coffee maker, microwave, and all the comforts of home.
Are there any other costs involved?
Yes, you will have to pay taxes yearly on your unit, which is done through the Town of Stoneham, the Inn is not responsible for collecting or paying your taxes. Also, if the Inn is upgrading they may put an assessment fee on top of the Maintenance Fee. These fees are discussed and voted on at the Annual Meeting. Evergreen Management keeps all assessment fees as low as possible.
